Meet our founders Alexis & Monica Schloeter.
In 2017, Alexis and Monica Schloeter, philanthropists devoted to community service, founded MediSun. MediSun is more than just a medical center; it is a sanctuary where underserved Haitian and Latino communities receive not only medical care but also a comprehensive approach to health and well-being.
Having lived in the area for the past 25 years, the Schloeters identified a critical gap in medical services for these communities. Motivated to bridge this gap, they established MediSun. Here, patients are treated as whole individuals, not just a collection of symptoms. This holistic vision has driven MediSun to become a cornerstone of the community.
